The entire world is God's table. Every living thing is in God's hands. As all of humanity sits at His table We live in peace when we share And all of our good dreams come true David Saks Freedom From Hunger In 1963, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations commissioned a series of postage stamps to promote the "Freedom From Hunger" Campaign. The stamp campaign coincided with the World Food Congress in 1963, aiming to spread the FFHC message widely. Several countries issued stamps with the theme “Freedom from Hunger” in 1963. These stamps were designed to raise awareness about hunger and malnutrition, emphasizing the importance of food security and sustainable agriculture. The designs varied by country, but they shared a common goal of promoting the FFHC message. PostBeeld, an online stamp shop, offers the Brunei 1963 Freedom from Hunger stamp (sby0095) for sale. Stanley Gibbons, a renowned philatelic company, also lists the 1963 Mint Freedom From Hunger Omnibus set (77 values) for collectors. Other online shops and stamp dealers may also carry these stamps. Freedom from Hunger stamps are a unique and educational addition to any philatelic collection. They serve as a reminder of the ongoing struggle against hunger and malnutrition, while also showcasing the international cooperation and awareness-raising efforts of the 1960s. War-torn nations ceased fighting, disarmed and lived in peace for a moment in time when these stamps, from the collection of David Saks, were issued.
